Corn Cob Stock

So I decided to try making Corn cob stock after seeing the recipe here. And yep, it is delicious. However, I understand why the blogger posted frozen jars of corn stock in her recipe post (which sort of looks like frosty mason jars of butter- quite appetizing):
So, unfrozen- while it does taste good (I am going to make this soup with leftover smoked chicken from Mr. Wells 60th on Saturday)- it looks like lemon-lime gatorade or a sample of something I definitely don't want in my soup!
